NEW DELHI: As the national capital reels under cold waves, 25 trains were delayed, 12 others were cancelled due to low visibility.
Two trains were also rescheduled. The morning seemed foggy in several parts of Delhi.
The India Meteorological Department report said the minimum temperature in Delhi to be 8 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 18 degrees Celsius.
Earlier this week, heavy rainfall across parts of north India brought down the mercury, intensifying the cold weather conditions.
Western disturbances had caused the downpour in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan and triggered snowfall in the Kashmir Valley.
The severe cold conditions and reducing visibility had led to cancellation of several trains in the national capital and delayed the flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport.
